This widget is single-line. You can enter text and digits in it (such as product name, person name, license plate number, postal code, address, and ID card number).

On the form development page, drag the single-line text widget from Data Widgets to the form design area. See Figure 1.

Name: Field name to be displayed on the form page.
Click Reference Field next to Name to reference the selected field value to the current field name.
Verification: Restrictions on fields.
- Mandatory: Whether the field is mandatory.
- Unique: Whether a field value can be entered repeatedly.
- Characters: Whether to limit the number of characters. If this is selected, specify the upper limit. A single-line text widget supports a maximum of 85 characters.
- Format: Whether to restrict the input format. The format can be Letter, Letter and digit, and Digit. For each input format, Huawei Cloud Astro Zero has preset a regular expression for verification. You can enter a field value in the Test text box to test the input format. If the format is invalid, an error message is displayed.
Conditions: Attributes of the field can be Read-only, Disable, or Hide.
- Read-only: If this option is selected, this field can still be displayed but cannot be configured.
- Disable: If this option is selected, this field can still be displayed but cannot be configured.
- Hide: If this option is selected, this field is hidden on the page.
Width: Ratio of the field configuration box width to the page width.
Mobile QR Code: Once enabled, it allows text input by scanning barcodes or QR codes. For example, the text recognized during scanning can be entered into a single-line text field.
Default Value: The following default values are supported:
- Other Field: Location fields in other location widgets and associated records in the form.
- Relate Data: Associate existing data. That is, the latest data record is used as the default value.

- Formula editing: After a formula is edited for a field in a form, the value of the field can be automatically calculated based on the formula when you fill in the form or modify the form data. This improves efficiency.
Guide Prompt: The guidance text is displayed when the field is left empty.
Pop-up Message: If the field to be entered is difficult to understand, you can configure a pop-up message to tell users what the field refers to and how to configure it.
If pop-up message is set, a question mark (?) icon is displayed on the right of the field name on the page. You can hover the cursor over the icon to view the configured pop-up message on the form filling page.
Description: Set the description of the widget. Line breaks and internationalization are supported.
