Checking a Running Report
In a running report, you can further filter data, implement more display functions, and preview and check the report.
- Log in to the application designer by referring to Logging In to the Application Designer.
- In the navigation pane, choose Page.
- In Report, click the corresponding report. The report design page is displayed.
- Click
in the upper part of the page to run the report.
- Click the display chart button in the upper right corner to set the report display style.
When creating a report, specify the grouping field (see 6.b). With this configuration, the display chart button becomes accessible.Figure 1 Setting the report display style
- Style: You can select a proper chart type for the report data, such as bar chart, stack chart, line chart, pie chart, meter chart, funnel chart, and scatter chart. The available chart types can vary depending on the report, which can be configured on the setting tab page.
- On the setting tab page, the settings of the bar chart, stack chart, and line chart are as follows:
- Legend position: position of legends.
- X-axis: Select a group field as the X axis.
- X-axis label: Name of the X axis.
- Secondary grouping: An additional grouping field can be specified for secondary grouping. The field can either be displayed in the same bar chart, or be used as a stack in the stack chart.
- Y-axis: Select a formula field (default record count) as the Y axis.
- Y-axis label: Name of the Y axis.
- Show reference line: Indicates whether to display a reference line in a chart to compare the values of the Y axis of different groups.
- Display value: Indicates whether to display the value of each bar.
- The settings of the pie chart are as follows:
- Legend position: position of legends.
- Value: You can specify a formula field (count recorded in the default bit).
- Slice: You can specify a grouping field.
- Display value: Indicates whether to display the value of each pie.
- Meter chart: A meter chart is a relatively simple chart that displays a specific value and the status (minimum, medium, and worst) of the value. The settings of the meter chart are as follows:
- Measurement: You can specify a formula field (count recorded in the default bit).
- Minimum value: You can specify the minimum value.
- Maximum value: You can specify the maximum value.
- The settings of the funnel chart are as follows:
- Value: Select a formula field as the value measurement.
- Coloring basis: Select a grouping field as the grouping measurement.
- Display value: Indicates whether to display the value of each layer.
- The settings of the scatter chart are as follows:
- X-axis: Formula measurement.
- Y-axis: Formula measurement.
- Details: Specify a grouping metric.
- Display value: Indicates whether to display the value of each dot.
- On the setting tab page, the settings of the bar chart, stack chart, and line chart are as follows:
- Palette: You can customize charts with various color schemes.
Operations on the report running page are only methods provided for users to explore report design and will not be saved to the database.
- Style: You can select a proper chart type for the report data, such as bar chart, stack chart, line chart, pie chart, meter chart, funnel chart, and scatter chart. The available chart types can vary depending on the report, which can be configured on the setting tab page.
- Click
and set the data to be displayed. You can filter the data to be displayed.

- Overall summary: The summary information is displayed at the bottom of the table.
Moving a Report
- Log in to the application designer by referring to Logging In to the Application Designer.
- In the navigation pane, choose Page.
- Move the cursor to
of the target report, and choose Move.
- Select the elements to be moved and click Next.
- Select the target application and click Confirm. The selected elements are moved to this application.
The report can be moved only to applications with development permissions.
Cloning a Report
- Log in to the application designer by referring to Logging In to the Application Designer.
- In the navigation pane, choose Page.
- Move the cursor to
of the target report, and choose Clone.
- Set the report name and unique ID based on service requirements and click the confirm button.
After the cloning is successful, you can view the cloned report in the report folder.
Deleting a Report
Deleted reports cannot be recovered. Exercise caution when performing this operation.
- Log in to the application designer by referring to Logging In to the Application Designer.
- In the navigation pane, choose Page.
- Move the cursor to
of the target report, and choose Delete.
- In the displayed dialog box, click the confirm button. Then the report is deleted.
