Setting the Supported Languages
In applications developed on Huawei Cloud Astro Zero, pre-configuring the supported languages is essential for enabling multilingual content display in the user's desired languages. On the translation console page, you can add, delete, and edit languages supported by the system. Disable a language before deletion.
Adding a Language
- Log in to the Huawei Cloud Astro Zero console and click Access Homepage. The application development page is displayed.
- In the upper left corner of the page, click
and choose Environments > Environment Configuration.
- In the navigation pane, choose System Settings > Internationalization Settings > Supported Languages and click New.
- Set related parameters and click Save.
Table 1 Parameters for adding a language Parameter
Description
Language
Select a language from the drop-down list.
As Default Language
Indicates whether to set the new language as the default language.
For example, if the default language is English and the multi-language field ProductName is only set in English, the field will display in English for users.
Enable
Indicates whether to enable the language. If this option is selected, the language is enabled.
The language can be displayed in the multi-language field after this function is enabled.
Using an Added Language
After a language is configured and enabled, it will appear in the language area on the right side of the translation page. Translators can then use this language for translation tasks.

Most translation records are used by application developers. Huawei Cloud Astro Zero only uses part of these records, such as those related to custom applications and menus.
- Log in to the Huawei Cloud Astro Zero console and click Access Homepage. The application development page is displayed.
- In the upper left corner of the page, click
and choose Environments > Environment Configuration.
- In the navigation pane, choose System Settings > Internationalization Settings > Translation Settings.
- Follow the translation guide to complete the translation.
