User Roles

Roles

Enterprise Change Approval has the following user roles: system administrator, DBA, and common user. Each database has an owner role.

System Administrator

Usually the enterprise administrator. By default, the system administrator is the user who enables the account and is responsible for managing users of this enterprise, for example adding DBAs and developers to this enterprise.

DBA

Usually the enterprise database DBAs. DBAs are responsible for adding instances, customizing approval processes for instance or database operations, and approving modification tickets submitted by developers.

Common User

Usually the enterprise developers. Common users must apply for desired permissions before performing any operation on enterprise databases.

A database owner is a system role but also a common user. It is responsible for approving permission and data modification applications.
