Altering a Table

Altering a Table
After a table is created, you can alter information of the table, including basic information, columns, generated columns, indexes, and foreign keys.
Usage Notes
Improper alterations on a table will cause instance or service exceptions.
Procedure
- Log in to the DAS console.
- Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
- Click in the upper left corner, and under Databases, click Data Admin Service.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Development Tool.
- Locate the DB instance that you want to log in to and click Log In in the Operation column.
- On the top menu bar, choose Database Management.
- In the upper area of the page, click Change on the right of the current database to switch to the database where you want to alter a table.
- On the displayed Objects tab, choose Tables on the left.
- In the right pane, locate the table that you want to alter and click Alter in the Operation column.
- Modify the table information as required. After the modification is complete, click Alter.
- In the SQL Preview dialog box, click Execute.
