Global Configuration Management
Scenarios
Global configuration management is used to save files.
During data modification, if the backup is enabled, backup files will be saved to the OBS bucket configured here.
If the OBS bucket is not configured, certain functions such as data backup in data modification cannot be used.
Configuring an OBS Bucket
- On the top menu bar, choose System Management > Global Configuration Management.
- On the displayed page, select OBS Bucket. The system displays the current OBS bucket where you can store files.
- Click Set OBS Bucket to configure the current bucket.
- Click Save.
Configuring Process Approval
- Approval process of sensitive columns is configured globally. After configured, the approval process takes effect for sensitive columns in all databases.
- When a user applies for the view permission of sensitive columns, the approver can be set here.
- On the top menu bar, choose System Management > Global Configuration Management.
General approval process configurations include the following parameters:
- Max. Number of DBAs per Instance/DB
- Max. Number of Owners per Instance/DB
- Allow Admin Be Set as Owner
- Do Not Allow Approval by Submitter When There Are Multiple Approvers
- Combine High-risk Approval Process with Owner > DBA > Admin Process
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose Approval Process Configuration. In the right pane, click Set Approval Process.
- Click Create Approval Process to create a process.
You can also select an existing approval process from the process list.
- On the displayed page, click Create.
- In the displayed dialog box, specify the name, approver, and remarks as required.
- Click OK to save the process information.
- View the details of the created process in the process list and manage it as required.
SQL Modification
- For the purposes of data security, you are advised to enable Back Up SQL Modification before modifying SQL statements.
- Backup data is stored in OBS, which incurs fees.
- On the top menu bar, choose System Management > Global Configuration Management.
- In the navigation pane on the left, choose SQL Modification. In the right pane, enable Back Up SQL Modification.
