Creating a Function

You have logged in to the DAS console.


  1. On the top menu bar, choose Database Management. On the displayed Objects tab, choose Functions on the left and click Create Function in the right pane.

  2. Set the function name, returned value type, and description, and click OK.

  3. On the displayed tab, enter the SQL statements of the function and click Save.

  4. In the upper left corner of the SQL window, click Option. In the displayed Option dialog box, set required parameters and click OK.

  5. Save the new function or click Execute to invoke the object and view the status in the Message area.
