Creating a Database

Procedure

1. Log in to the DAS console.
2. Click in the upper left corner and select a region and project.
3. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Development Tool.

   You can also click Go to Development Tool on the overview page.

4. Locate the DB instance that you want to log in to and click Log In in the Operation column.
5. In the database list of the Home page, click Create Database.

6. On the displayed page, enter a database name and collection name (optional).

   The database name can contain a maximum of 63 characters. Spaces and the special characters are not allowed: \/."$*<>:|?

7. Click OK. View the created database in the database list.
