International SMS

Resource package

  • After a resource package is purchased, the quota of the international SMS resource package is deducted when you send SMSs. When the resource package runs out, the platform automatically suspends SMS sending. If you want to continue sending SMSs, purchase another resource package.
  • Currently, only resource packages for sending SMSs to the following countries are available: Indonesia, Thailand, India, Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Dominican Republic. SMSs cannot be sent to the countries that are not supported by the resource package. Verification code and notification SMSs are charged in the same way.
  • You are billed for sending SMSs by calling APIs or using Group SMS Assistant.
  • You are not billed for SMSs whose status parameter or status code is a Huawei platform error code.

View all SMS Status Error Codes. (SMSs with status error codes from the Huawei platform are not charged.)

Account Usage

  • Message & SMS is a prepaid service. Top up your Huawei Cloud account to use it.
  • An SMS package is bound to one account and cannot be used by different accounts.
