International SMS

You can send SMSs in English or other languages to phone numbers outside the Chinese mainland. You can send verification code and notification SMSs. For details, see How to Use International SMS.

Pay-per-use

  • By default, the system uses pay-per-use billing. SMS prices vary by target country or region. For details about the price, see Pricing Details.
  • Verification code and notification SMSs are charged in the same way.
  • You are billed for sending SMSs by calling APIs or using Group SMS Assistant.
  • You are not billed for SMSs whose status parameter or status code is a Huawei platform error code.

Pay-per-Use Billing

SMS package

  • If you purchase an SMS package, the SMS package quota will be deducted first. When the quota is used up, you will be billed on a pay-per-use basis.
  • Currently, SMS packages are only available for sending SMSs to the following countries: Indonesia, Thailand, India, and Philippines. For details about the prices of SMSs sent to other countries or regions, see Pay-per-Use Billing.
  • Verification code and notification SMSs are charged in the same way.
  • You are billed for sending SMSs by calling APIs or using Group SMS Assistant.
  • You are not billed for SMSs whose status parameter or status code is a Huawei platform error code.

SMS Packages (Pay-per-Use Billing upon SMS Package Runout)

Resource package

  • If you purchase a resource package, the quota of the resource package is deducted. When the quota is used up, SMS sending will be automatically suspended. If you want to continue sending SMSs, purchase another resource package.
  • Currently, resource packages are only available for sending SMSs to the following countries: Indonesia, Thailand, India, Philippines, Mexico, Brazil, Chile, Peru, and Dominican Republic. SMSs cannot be sent to the countries that are not supported by the resource package.
  • Verification code and notification SMSs are charged in the same way.
  • You are billed for sending SMSs by calling APIs or using Group SMS Assistant.
  • You are not billed for SMSs whose status parameter or status code is a Huawei platform error code.

Resource Packages (Suspension upon Resource Package Runout)

Chinese Mainland SMS

You can send SMSs to phone numbers within the Chinese mainland. Verification codes and SMS notifications can be sent. For details, see How to Use Chinese Mainland SMS.

Pay-per-use

  • For details about the price, see Pricing Details.
  • Verification code and notification SMSs are charged in the same way.
  • You are billed only for SMSs that are successfully sent.

Pay-per-Use Billing

Account Rules

  • Message & SMS is a prepaid service. Top up your Huawei Cloud account to use it.
  • An SMS package or a resource package is bound to one account and cannot be used by different accounts.
