What Are the Differences Between Pay-per-Use Billing upon SMS Package Runout (Mode 1) and Suspension upon Resource Package Runout (Mode 2)?

  • In the pay-per-use billing upon SMS package runout mode (mode 1), you are billed on a pay-per-use basis after the international SMS package runs out. For details about the billing mode, see Pricing Details of mode 1.
  • In the suspension upon resource package runout mode (mode 2), the platform automatically suspends SMS sending after the international SMS resource package runs out. This is a new mode. For details about the billing mode, see Pricing Details of mode 2.
  • SMS packages are for mode 1, and resource packages are for mode 2. For details about the differences in purchase methods, see Purchase Guide of mode 1 and "Purchase Guide" of mode 2.
  • In mode 1, you can send international and Chinese mainland SMSs. In mode 2, you can send only international SMSs. For details about the function differences, see Overview.
