Pay-per-use billing is applicable when the usage is unpredictable or demands fluctuate sharply.

Scenarios that required pay-per-use billing:

• Sending Chinese mainland SMSs
• Sending international SMSs without SMS packages, sending international SMSs beyond the package quota, and sending International SMSs to countries and regions other than Indonesia, Thailand, India, and Philippines

SMS prices vary by target country or region. For details about the price, see Pricing Details.

Billing Rules

You are billed for sending SMSs by calling APIs or using Group SMS Assistant. An SMS is not charged if its returned status or status code is an error code from Huawei platform (error code in SMS Status Error Codes whose Status Code Source is Huawei platform).

If the number of characters in an SMS exceeds the length limit, the platform splits the SMS into multiple short messages. For details about how to calculate the number of SMSs, see SMS Content Length Calculation.

Fee = Used resources x Unit price
