Managing On-premises IDCs

Scenarios

Cloud Operations Center can manage both cloud resources and offline devices. When you need to manage your offline physical machines, VMs, and middleware using Huawei Cloud in a unified manner, such as performing resource statistics and unified resource O&M, you can use the IDC offline resource management function.

Importing IDC Offline Resources

  1. Log in to COC.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Resources > Application and Resource Management.
  3. Click Multi-cloud Configurations in the upper right corner.
  4. Click On-premises IDCs.
  5. Set parameters for importing on-premises IDCs.

    • Import Type: The options include Physical machine, Virtual machine, or Middleware device. Only one option can be selected.
    • Region: Select a region from the dropdown box.
    • File to be Uploaded: Upload resource information in an Excel file.
      1. Click Download Template.

        Download the table template and enter information.

      2. Click to Add File.

        Select and upload the completed template.

Modifying Offline IDC Resources

  1. Log in to COC.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Resources > Application and Resource Management.
  3. In the cloud vendor list on the left, select On-premises IDCs.
  4. Select the resource type to be modified.

    Physical machine is selected by default.

  5. Click Modify in the Operation column.
  6. Configure the IDC offline resource information.

  7. Click OK.

    The IDC offline resource is modified.

Deleting IDC Offline Resources

  1. Log in to COC.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Resources > Application and Resource Management.
  3. In the cloud vendor list on the left, select IDC offline resource.
  4. Select the resource type to be deleted.

    Physical machine is selected by default.

  5. Click Delete in the Operation column.
  6. Click OK.

    The IDC offline resource is deleted.
