CodeArts Req uses Identity and Access Management (IAM) to unify permissions for multiple projects of a tenant. In a single project, permissions are managed based on specific settings. CodeArts Req manages permissions for cloud services and projects.
Cloud service level: Permissions are set using IAM. IAM is free of charge. You pay only for the resources in your account.
Project-level: Permissions are set using CodeArts Req.

Statistics reports: CodeArts Req provides more than 10 preset reports based on Huawei practices for you to customize reports.
Reports: You can quickly customize and send project progress reports.
Roles and permissions: You can manage project members, roles, and permissions.
Internal notifications: You can be notified of work item changes via internal messages or emails.
Modules: You can define the name and owner of a module. If no handler is specified for a work item and you assign the work item to a module, the module owner will become the handler.
Domains: You can select an architecture design domain according to your product.
Workflows: You can customize the flows, status, and transition of work items.
Association: You can customize the association between code commits and work items. After the code is committed, the work items can be automatically closed.
Templates: You can save the settings of a project as a template so that other projects can reuse the settings.

General settings cover basic information, members, and general permissions.
• Basic information: You can modify the basic information about a project, or delete or archive a project.
• Members: you can add members from your enterprise to an existing project or a project being created, and remove members from projects.
• General permissions: You can customize permissions on projects for each role, including editing and archiving basic project information, and managing roles, permissions, and members. You can also customize role types and assign permissions to roles as required.
