Function Overview
-
Content Delivery Network
-
Content Delivery Network (CDN) delivers content from origins to edge nodes, so end users can obtain desired content from nearby nodes. CDN speeds up website response, ensures content availability, and prevents network traffic bottlenecks.
To enable CDN acceleration for a domain name, you can add the domain name and configure CNAME resolution on the CDN console. You can also optimize the cache, security, and performance of the domain name to further accelerate content delivery and relieve the pressure on the origin server.
Available in all regions.

-
Domain Name Management
-
After a domain name is added, you can enable, disable, remove, and review the domain name on the CDN console. You can also configure the domain name's termination policy.
-
-
Basic Settings
-
When you use CDN acceleration, if the area where the origin server or end users are located changes, you can adjust basic domain name settings on CDN.
Available in all regions.
-
-
Retrieval Settings
-
When a user requests content on an acceleration domain name, and the content is not cached on CDN nodes, CDN nodes will retrieve the content from the origin server. You can set retrieval parameters based on your needs to speed up access.
-
-
HTTPS Settings
-
HTTPS ensures secure transmission through encryption and identity authentication. CDN supports SSL certificates and other security mechanisms to secure domain names.
Available in all regions.
-
-
Cache Settings
-
CDN caches origin content on edge nodes across the globe so that users can obtain content from nearby nodes. You can modify cache settings to change the cache status of resources on CDN nodes.
Available in all regions.
-
-
Access Control
-
You can configure referer validation, IP address blacklist and whitelist, User-Agent blacklist and whitelist, and URL authentication to identify and filter out unauthorized users and improve CDN security.
Available in all regions.
-
-
Advanced Settings
-
Further configure related parameters to improve user experience and product usability.
-
-
Video Seek
-
Allow users to seek to a certain position in a video without affecting the playback effect.
Available in all regions.

Cache Purge and Prefetch
-
- Cache Purge
After you submit a cache purge request, cached content on CDN nodes will be forcibly expired. If a user requests that content, CDN will have to retrieve fresh content from the origin server and then cache that new content.
- Cache Prefetch
After you submit a cache prefetch request, the origin server proactively sends the most current content to a CDN node to be cached. If a user requests the content, the CDN node immediately returns the cached content. It does not need to retrieve any new content.
Available in all regions.

Analytics
-
CDN provides you with statistical reports. You can view and analyze data to detect exceptions and adjust services in a timely manner.
Available in all regions.
-
-
Resource Package Management
-
If you are billed by traffic, you can save money by buying a traffic package on the Traffic Packages page. You can also view the basic information about traffic packages and manage them on the Traffic Packages page.
Available in all regions.
-
-
Log Management
-
CDN records the requests to all domain names including those deleted. If you have enabled the enterprise project function, log management is not available for these deleted domain names. You can download logs for a specific period over the past 30 days. Then you can analyze the access to your service resources in detail.
Available in all regions.

Checking PoP IP Addresses
-
If the content shown on the access page of the acceleration domain name is abnormal, you can use the PoP IP address checking tool to check whether the specified IP address is the IP address of a Huawei Cloud CDN node. In this way, you can know whether the abnormality is caused by the carrier network or other reasons.
Available in all regions.
