Overview
COC builds a unified resource and application model, and you can manage your resources across clouds and accounts with ease. It delivers global resource visualization, accurate resource control, and efficient collaboration. COC covers the entire lifecycle of resources, from resource definition, request, provisioning, O&M, configuration updates, to recycling. It creates a unified resource management cockpit and provides real-time, intelligent, and reliable cloud O&M experience for enterprises.
- Resource management: With this feature, you can manage Huawei Cloud resources, core resources of other cloud vendors, IDC resources, and cross-account resources on this platform. After authorization is completed upon the first login to COC, Huawei Cloud resources are automatically synchronized. You need to manually synchronize resources of other cloud vendors and cross-account resources to this platform.
- Management of other cloud vendors' resources: lets you configure accounts for other cloud vendors on COC and synchronize their resources. This simplifies resource management across multiple clouds.
- IDC resource management: provides all-scenario resource management capabilities, supports management of cloud resources and on-premises devices, and centrally manages on-premises PMs, VMs, and middleware on Huawei Cloud.
- Cross-account resource management: enables you to perform unified and automatic O&M on resources of other accounts in an organization. This prevents manpower waste caused by multi-account operations and reduces risks such as omission caused by manual operations.
- Application creation: You can create an application to logically classify components.
- Resource association: You can associate an application with the compute, storage, and network resources it depends on and aggregate them by service attribute and deployment environment. In this way, resources can be managed and controlled in batches and rapidly searched, enhancing O&M efficiency and strengthening the mapping between services and resources.
- Viewing the application topology and Viewing the resource topology: Resource topologies are displayed in graphics. Nodes indicate resources, and lines indicate relationships between resources. Such a visual view makes resource dependencies much clearer, improving resource monitoring and management and the insight into resource usage.
