Manually Synchronizing Resources
If resource data is not properly displayed, you can trigger the resource synchronization function to manually update the data. This operation can calibrate the data status in a timely manner, ensure that the resource information is always up to date and reliable, and provide accurate basis for service decision-making and system operations.
The system now employs real-time resource synchronization, replacing the outdated asynchronous approach. This greatly improves the synchronization efficiency and enables instant response with zero delay.
Concepts
Before using resource synchronization, it is recommended that you understand the following basic concepts to quickly get started.
| Concept | Description |
|---|---|
| Resource | A resource is an entity that you can use on the cloud platform. A resource can be an Elastic Cloud Server (ECS), an Elastic Volume Service (EVS) disk, or a Virtual Private Cloud (VPC). |
| Resource synchronization | To perform this operation, you must have the rms:resources:list permissions. This permission is used to call RMS APIs to obtain resources in all regions to which the current user belongs. |
Prerequisites
To synchronize resources of other cloud vendors, ensure that you have added accounts of other cloud vendors in the multi-cloud configuration. For details, see Managing Resources of Other Cloud Vendors.
Synchronizing Resources Based on Cloud Vendors
- Log in to COC.
- In the navigation pane, choose Resources > Application and Resource Management.
- Select the cloud vendor whose resources need to be synchronized.
Huawei Cloud is selected by default.
- Select the account to which the resources to be synchronized belong.
By default, My Resources is selected.
- Select the resource type to be synchronized.
By default, Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) is selected.

- Click Synchronize Resource to synchronize resources.
The system will synchronize resources of the selected resource type under the selected cloud vendor account to the resource list.
Synchronizing Resources Based on Accounts
- Log in to COC.
- In the navigation pane, choose Resources > Application and Resource Management.
- Click Multi-cloud Configurations in the upper right corner.
- In the access list, select the account whose resources you want to synchronize and click Synchronize Resource in the Operation column.
The system will synchronize resources under the selected account to the resource list.
