Overview of Unsubscription Rules
You can unsubscribe from in-use resources, inactive resources, renewal periods, and resources that failed to be created or changed. The table below lists whether handling fees are charged and whether coupons are refunded upon unsubscription.
Unsubscribing from in-use resources, inactive resources, and renewal periods may involve large-value unsubscriptions (over $7,000 USD). For more information, see Precautions for Large-Value Unsubscriptions.

- Unsubscription is available only for yearly/monthly resources. If you no longer need a yearly/monthly resource, you can unsubscribe from it. Your money will be refunded based on unsubscription rules.
- As pay-per-use resources are postpaid, they cannot be unsubscribed from. If you no longer need the resources, simply delete them on the cloud service console.
- If an instance you want to unsubscribe from is associated with other resources, unsubscribe from or delete the associated resources if no longer needed to reduce your costs.
- Unsubscriptions are not allowed for some services, such as HUAWEI CLOUD Meeting. For more information, see Unsubscription Not Allowed.
- If cash coupons are no longer valid, they will not be returned during unsubscriptions.
- For details about unsubscription operations and rules, see the links in Table 1.
- After the unsubscription is successful, the refund will be returned to your Huawei Cloud account or payment account. For details, see Refunding.
