Viewing Monitored Metrics

1. In the navigation pane of OBS Console, choose Buckets.
2. On the Buckets page, locate the bucket whose monitoring metrics you want to view and click in the Quick Links column.
3. In the window displayed on the right, you can view the key monitoring metrics of storage, traffic, and requests in the specified time range.

   By default, the monitoring metrics of the last hour are displayed. You can click the time range picker in the upper part of the window to select the time range.

   

   To view more metric details, click View Details in the upper right corner of the window.

On the Overview page of the OBS console, you can view only a summary of bucket alarms (respective number of critical, major, minor, and warning alarms). To view detailed monitoring metrics, use other methods.

1. In the navigation pane of OBS Console, choose Overview.
2. Check alarms.

   In the Alarms area, you can view the alarm summary of all buckets by severity and count. Click Alarm Details in the upper right corner to go to the Alarm Records page of the Cloud Eye console.

Go to the Cloud Service Monitoring page of the Cloud Eye console, click the Object Storage Service OBS dashboard name to view the OBS monitoring metrics. For details, see Viewing a Cloud Service Dashboard.

You can view OBS monitoring metrics on the monitoring dashboard provided by Cloud Eye. The monitoring dashboard can be the system built-in dashboard or your custom dashboard. For details about the built-in dashboard and custom monitoring dashboard, see Monitoring Dashboards.

• Monitoring dashboards

  Cloud Eye offers built-in monitoring dashboards by default. On the Cloud Eye console, choose Dashboards and click Show in the Operation column of the OBS Monitoring Dashboard to view core OBS service metrics. For details, see Viewing a Dashboard.

• Custom dashboards

  A custom dashboard enables you to view all the core service metrics you are concerned about, providing you with a comprehensive monitoring platform. On the Cloud Eye console, choose Custom Dashboards, click the name of your custom dashboard, and view your-concerned OBS metrics. For details, see Viewing a Graph.
