Editing an Application Environment Variable
This section describes how to edit an application environment variable.
Prerequisites
You have created an application environment variable by referring to Manually Adding an Application Environment Variable or Importing Application Environment Variables.
Editing an Application Environment Variable
- Log in to ServiceStage.
- Choose Application Management.
- Click the target application. The Overview page is displayed.
- In the left navigation pane, click Environment Variables.
- Select a created environment from the Environment drop-down list.
- Select the target variable and click Edit in the Operation column.
- Reset Name and Variable/Variable Reference.
- Name: application environment variable name, which must be unique in the same environment. Enter 1 to 64 characters. Start with a letter, underscore (_), or hyphen (-). Only use letters, digits, underscores (_), hyphens (-), and periods (.).
- Variable/Variable Reference: application environment variable value.
Exercise caution when inputting sensitive information in configuring environment variables, or encrypt sensitive information to avoid information leakage.
- Click Submit.

Follow-Up Operations
After the application environment variables are changed, you can:
- Make the changed application environment variables take effect for a specified component of the application by Upgrading a Single Component.
- Make the changed application environment variables take effect for multiple or all components of the application by Upgrading Components in Batches.
