Operation Guide
The operations of cloud services that can be deployed in IEC HomeZones are basically the same as those of the original cloud services. Cloud services can be classified into three types:
- Cloud services related to AZs. When purchasing this type of cloud services, you need to select HomeZones for AZ Type. For details about other configurations, see the operation guide of the corresponding cloud service. For example, Elastic Cloud Server (ECS) and Elastic Volume Service (EVS).
- Region-level cloud services that are irrelevant to AZs. When purchasing this type of cloud services, you do not need to select HomeZones. You only need to perform operations by referring to the operation guide of the corresponding cloud service. For example, Host Security Service (HSS) and Web Application Firewall (WAF).
- Network cloud services. When using this type of services, you need to select options related to local lines. For details, see the operation guide of the corresponding cloud service. For example, Elastic IP (EIP).
Cloud Services Related to AZs
When purchasing a cloud service related to AZs, you must set AZ Type to HomeZones. For details about other operations, see the purchase or creation guide of the corresponding cloud service.

To enable communication between the parent region AZ and IEC HomeZones, you need to create an edge gateway and bind the edge connection of the edge gateway to the global connection bandwidth of Cloud Connection.
For details about other configurations, see the Cloud Connect User Guide. |
|
Elastic Load Balance (ELB) |
When buying a load balancer, select the parent region for which the HomeZones permissions has been granted, and select the HomeZones you desire. For details about other configurations, see the Elastic Load Balance User Guide. |
