To-Do Center
To-do center is used to record and follow up on daily to-do tasks to remind you of the tasks.
In COC to-do center, you can create a to-do task and assign it to a specified personnel for processing. You can set the deadline and enter the recommended solution for the to-do task. After the to-do task is created, the owner can be notified by an SMS message or email.
In addition to the preceding functions, you can set tags and add attachments when creating a to-do task.
After a to-do task is created, the owner can handle and close the to-do task.
Precautions
Only the to-do tasks of the current login account (the creator or owner) are displayed. The to-do tasks of other subaccounts are not displayed.
Creating a To-Do Task
- Log in to COC.
- In the navigation pane, choose Task Management > To-Do Center.
- Click Create.
- On the displayed page, set parameters for creating a to-do task.

Description
To-Do Task Name
Name of a custom to-do task.
- The name can contain a maximum of 255 characters, including only letters, digits, hyphens (-), underscores (_), and periods (.).
- The name must start with a letter or digit.
- The name cannot end with a decimal point.
Description
Enter the background and purpose of the to-do task.
The value can contain a maximum of 1,000 characters, including letters, digits, and special characters.
Type
The options are Scheduled incident, Risk warning, and Other.
Severity
The value can be Critical, Major, Minor, or Suggestion.
Owner
Select Shift or Individual.- Shift: Select a shift scenario and corresponding roles from the drop-down lists based on the configured values. For details about how to configure a shift, see Shift Schedule Management.
- Individual: Select an owner. For details about how to configure a recipient, see Personnel Management
Notification Mode
Select a notification channel.- Default: Same as that selected in the reviewer subscription function. For details about how to set the default notification channel, see Selecting a Notification Method.
- SMS, WeCom, DingTalk, Lark, and Email: Notifications are sent based on the information reserved by the reviewer. For details about how to set the reviewer information, see Modifying Personnel Information.
- No notification: The system does not notify any recipient.
Deadline
Configure the end time of the to-do task.
Label
(Optional) Select an existing label or enter a new label and press Enter to create a tag.
Recommended Solution
Enter a recommended solution.
- The value can contain a maximum of 1,000 characters, including letters, digits, and special characters.
- Click Add File to upload files related to the recommended solution.
- A maximum of one file no more than 50 MB can be uploaded. Only the following file formats are supported: JPG, PNG, DOCX, TXT, and PDF.
- In the to-do task viewing scenario, attachments can be downloaded, and there is flow control for the download operation. The flow control policy is as follows: The interval between two download operations must be greater than or equal to 5 seconds.
- Click OK.
After the creation is complete, the creator can view the to-do task on the Created by Me tab page on the To-Do Center page. After receiving the notification, the owner can view and handle the to-do task on the Pending tab page on the To-Do Center page.
Handling a To-Do Task
You can only handle the to-do tasks whose owner is yourself.
- Log in to COC.
- In the navigation pane, choose Task Management > To-Do Center.
- On the Pending tab page, click the name of a to-do task. The to-do task details page is displayed.
- Click Accept.
After the task is accepted, the status of the to-do task changes from Pending to Processing. The owner can handle the task by referring to the recommended solution described in Creating a To-Do Task.

Canceling a To-Do Task
If a created to-do task does not need to be handled, you can cancel it. Only to-do tasks in the to-be-handled state can be canceled.
- Log in to COC.
- In the navigation pane, choose Task Management > To-Do Center.
- Click the Created by Me tab.
- In the to-do list, locate the to-do task you want to cancel and click the to-do task name. The to-do task details page is displayed.
- Click Cancel in the upper right corner. The dialog box for canceling the to-do task is displayed. Figure 2 Canceling a To-Do Task
- Enter the cancellation reason and click OK.
After the cancellation is successful, the status of the to-do task changes from Pending to Cancelled.
Closing a To-Do Task
After a to-do task is completed, you can close the to-do process to complete closed-loop tracking.
- Log in to COC.
- In the navigation pane, choose Task Management > To-Do Center.
- Click the Handled by Me tab.
- In the to-do list, locate the to-do task you want to close and click the to-do task name. The to-do task details page is displayed.
- Click Close in the upper right corner.
- In the dialog box that is displayed, enter the closure remarks and click OK. After the to-do task is closed, its status changes from the state of being processed to complete.Figure 3 Closing a To-Do Task
