Changing the Billing Mode

Changing from Pay-per-Use to Yearly/Monthly

If you have a pay-per-use cloud desktop that you expect to use for a long time, you can change its billing mode to yearly/monthly billing to cut costs. If you do so, a new order will be generated. After you pay the order, the yearly/monthly resource will be activated immediately. For details, see Changing from Pay-per-Use to Yearly/Monthly.

Assume that you bought a pay-per-use cloud desktop at 15:29:16 on April 18, 2023, and you changed its billing mode to yearly/monthly billing at 16:30:30 on April 18, 2023 (a change-to-yearly/monthly order generated). After you paid the order, the cloud desktop immediately entered the yearly/monthly billing mode. You can view the bill information on the Billing Center > Bills page.

Changing from Yearly/Monthly to Pay-per-Use

After creating a yearly/monthly cloud desktop, you can change its billing mode to pay-per-use billing to reclaim some costs and use the desktop more flexibly.
