Creating a Map
Map components are used to display the data size and distribution range of metrics on a map. Map components include basic 2D maps, world maps, custom maps, and multi-layered maps.
Prerequisites
- You have subscribed to DataArts Insight.
- A project for managing data sources has been created. For details, see Creating a Project.
- You have obtained data. For details, see Creating a Data Source.
- You have prepared the required dataset. For details, see Creating a Dataset Through Visual Configuration.
- You have created a screen. For details, see Creating a Large Screen.
Procedure
- Click the Maps icon in the left navigation pane to switch to the map component page.
- Drag or click a map component to the canvas. In this section, the world map is used as an example.
- In the Data area on the right, select a dataset.
- Select the required map component and configure fields and styles.
- Click Save and Publish or Save in the upper right corner of the page.
