Sharing a Dashboard

DataArts Insight allows you to share a dashboard with other users or user groups. The shared users or user groups will have editing and usage permissions for the dashboard. This section explains how to share a dashboard so that team members can collaborate quickly.

Prerequisites

Procedure

  1. Log in to the DataArts Insight console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the management console to select a region. Then, select an enterprise project in the upper right corner.
  3. On the top menu of the console, click Project. On the displayed My Projects page, click the name of the desired project.
  4. In the navigation pane on the left, choose Data Analytics > Dashboard.
  5. On the displayed page, locate the dashboard you want to share and click Sharing and Collaboration in the Operation column.

  6. Select the permissions you want to grant.
    • Edit Authorization: Enabling this allows you to grant edit permissions to members, including editing and deleting dashboards, as well as performing data analysis based on the dashboard.
    • Export Authorization: Enabling this allows you to grant export permissions to members, allowing them to export dashboards, as well as perform data analysis based on the dashboard.
    • View Authorization: This is a customer service member permission that only allows data analysis based on the dashboard.
  7. Select the objects you want to authorize.
    • User: Users can obtain editing and usage permissions for the dashboard.
    • User Group: When a user group is authorized, all users within the group will have relevant permissions on the dashboard.
  8. Select the users and user groups that you want to authorize.
