Managing Drill Plans

You can create a drill plan to systematically schedule various failure modes to ensure that the drill is carried out in an orderly manner. When creating a drill plan, you need to specify the executor and planned drill time to form a standard task assignment basis. After the executor accepts the drill task, the system automatically generates a drill task. The task must be accurately associated with the preset failure mode and specific application region to ensure the drill scenario closely matches the actual business context. This lays a foundation for effective execution and evaluation of the drill.

Precautions

You do not need to specify the enterprise project to which a drill plan belongs. The enterprise project must be the same as that associated with the failure mode.

  1. Log in to COC.
  2. In the navigation pane, choose Resilience Center > Chaos Drills.
  3. Click Drill Plans.
  4. On the displayed page, click Create Drill Plan.
  5. Set parameters for creating a drill plan by referring to Table 1.
