General-Purpose KooPhone Service Process

Huawei Cloud KooPhone is a user-friendly and secure cloud phone service oriented for enterprises and Internet customers. It uses core technologies such as Arm server virtualization, audio/video codec, and real-time transmission, and has a rich app ecosystem of Huawei devices.

Figure 1 shows the process of using General-Purpose KooPhone.

  1. Creating a User and Granting KooPhone Permissions

    Create IAM users and grant them permissions to access and operate Huawei Cloud resources for fine-grained permissions control.

  2. Buying a General-Purpose Cloud Phone

    General-purpose cloud phones are available in professional edition. For details, see Instance Specifications. Apply for open beta test (OBT). After your application is approved, you can purchase a general-purpose cloud phone.

  3. Creating an Organization and Adding Department Members

    After purchasing a general-purpose cloud phone for the first time, the administrator needs to create an organization, departments, and members so that the general-purpose cloud phone instances can be assigned to department members.

  4. Assigning and Managing General-Purpose Cloud Phones

    Being bound to the organization members, general-purpose cloud phone instances can be assigned to them. You can restart, start, stop, renew, and delete general-purpose cloud phones on the console.

  5. Deploying and Managing General-Purpose Cloud Phone Apps

    After uploading an app to the app library on the console, you can select multiple general-purpose cloud phone instances to install the app for centralized management and maintenance.

  6. Setting Security Control Policies for a General-Purpose Cloud Phone

    Administrators can set management and control policies for general-purpose cloud phones, such as anti-screen capture, video watermark, app blacklist and whitelist, and data stream transmission, to improve mobile office security.

  7. Signing In to and Using the General-Purpose Cloud Phone

    Enterprise users can visit the link in the email notification to download and install the client and use the cloud phones after logging in to the client.
