Managing AOM Alarm Rules
After an alarm rule is created, you can view the rule name, type, status, and monitored object of the alarm rule in the rule list. You can also modify, enable, or disable the alarm rule as required.
Managing Prometheus Monitoring Alarm Rules
- Log in to the AOM 2.0 console.
- In the navigation pane, choose Alarm Center > Alarm Rules. The Prometheus Monitoring tab page is displayed by default.
- In the rule list, view all created alarm rules and perform the following operations as required. For details, see Table 1. Figure 1 Checking alarm rules

Filtering and displaying alarm rules
In the rule list, filter alarm rules by rule name, type, status, or other criteria.
Refreshing alarm rules
Click
in the upper right corner of the rule list to obtain the latest information about all alarm rules.Setting column display

- Table Text Wrapping: This feature is enabled by default. If you enable this feature, excess text will move down to the next line; otherwise, the text will be truncated.
- Data Columns: You can select Freeze none, Freeze first, or Freeze first two.
- Operation Column: Select Freeze. Then the operation column will always be in the last column and visible.
- Custom Columns: Select or deselect the columns to display.
Modifying alarm rules
Click Edit in the Operation column. On the displayed page, modify parameters (excluding those in gray). For details, see Creating an AOM Metric Alarm Rule and Creating an AOM Event Alarm Rule.
If the alarm rule configuration is modified, the rule may fail to monitor the target resource or to take effect. Exercise caution.
Copying an alarm rule
Choose More > Copy in the Operation column. For details, see Creating an AOM Metric Alarm Rule and Creating an AOM Event Alarm Rule.
Deleting alarm rules
- To delete an alarm rule, choose More > Delete in the Operation column. In the displayed dialog box, enter DELETE or click Auto Enter, and then click OK.
- To delete one or more alarm rules, select them and click Delete. In the displayed dialog box, enter DELETE or click Auto Enter, and then click OK.
Managing alarm rule tags
Move the cursor over
in the Tags column and click Edit Tag to manage tags.- Adding a tag: Click Edit Tag. In the displayed dialog box, click Add, enter a tag key and value, and click OK.
- A tag key can contain letters, digits, spaces, and special characters (_.:=+-@), but cannot start or end with a space or start with _sys_.
- A tag value can contain letters, digits, spaces, and special characters (_.:/=+-@).
- You can add up to 20 tags.
- To use one tag to identify different resources, create a predefined tag on TMS.
- Deleting a tag: Click Edit Tag. In the displayed dialog box, click Delete to delete a tag.
Enabling or disabling alarm rules
Select one or more alarm rules and click Enable or Disable. In the displayed dialog box, click OK.
Setting alarm notification policies in batches
Select one or more alarm rules of the same type and click Alarm Notification to set alarm notification policies in batches. Alarm notification policies vary depending on alarm rule types. For details, see Setting Alarm Notification Policies (1) or Setting Alarm Notification Policies (2).
Searching for alarm rules
You can search for alarm rules by rule names. Enter a keyword in the search box in the upper right corner and click
to search.Viewing detailed alarm information
Click a rule name. In the dialog box that is displayed, view all parameters of the alarm rule.
Viewing alarms
Click View Alarm in the Operation column. For details, see Checking AOM Alarms or Events.

A rule name can be changed. After it is changed, you can move the cursor to the rule name. Both the new and original rule names can be viewed.
Disabling alarm rules
- To disable an alarm rule, click the button in the Rule Status column. Enabled:

. - To disable one or more alarm rules, select them and choose Enable/Disable Alarm Rule > Close.

Disabling an alarm rule temporarily
- To disable an alarm rule temporarily, click More > Disable Temporarily in the Operation column. In the displayed dialog box, set the expiration date.
- To disable one or more alarm rules temporarily, select them and choose Enable/Disable Alarm Rule > Disable Temporarily.
Re-enabling alarm rules
Select one or more alarm rules and choose Enable/Disable Alarm Rule > Re-Enable.
Copying an alarm rule
Locate the target alarm rule and choose More > Copy. For details, see Creating an AOM Log Alarm Rule.
Deleting alarm rules
- To delete an alarm rule, click Delete in the Operation column. In the displayed dialog box, click Yes.
- To delete one or more alarm rules, select them and click Delete. In the displayed dialog box, click OK.
Enabling/Disabling restoration notification
- To enable or disable restoration notification for an alarm rule, click the button in the Restoration Notification column. Enabled:

. - To enable or disable restoration notification for one or more alarm rules, select them and choose Enable/Disable Restoration Notification > Open/Close.
Viewing detailed alarm information
- Click a rule name. In the dialog box that is displayed, view all parameters of the alarm rule.
Importing alarm rules
Choose Import/Export > Import. In the Import Alarm Rule dialog box, click Select File, import a file, and click Import.
- Only XLSX files can be supported. Max. size: 500 KB.
- For rules with the same name, only the last rule is imported.
Exporting alarm rules
- Exporting selected data to an XLSX file: Select one or more alarm rules and choose Import/Export > Export selected data to an XLSX file.
- Exporting all data to an XLSX file: Choose Import/Export > Export all data to an XLSX file.
Viewing alarms
During the configured consecutive periods, if a log data record meets the preset condition, an alarm will be generated.
In the navigation pane, choose Alarm Center > Alarm List. On the Alarms tab page, view alarms. For details, see Checking AOM Alarms or Events.
Tags
Tag alarm rules as required. Click Add and enter a tag key and value.
To add more tags, repeat this step. A maximum of 20 tags can be added.
Tag key restrictions:
- A tag key can contain letters, digits, spaces, and special characters (_.:=+-@), but cannot start or end with a space or start with _sys_.
- A tag key can contain up to 128 characters, and a tag value can contain up to 255 characters.
- Each tag key must be unique.
Tag value restrictions:
- A tag value can contain letters, digits, spaces, and special characters (_.:=+-@).
- A tag value can contain up to 255 characters.
Deleting a tag:
WARNING:Deleted tags cannot be recovered.
To delete a tag, click Delete in the Operation column of the tag.
