Granting Database Permissions
Scenarios
You can grant permissions to database users you have created to use specific databases or revoke permissions from specific database users.
Constraints
- This operation is not allowed for instances that are being restored.
- An account with read-only or read/write permissions on all databases can still be granted read-only or read/write permissions on specific databases. The account's actual permissions are a combination of permissions on all and specific databases.
Procedure
- Log in to the TaurusDB console.
- On the Instances page, click the instance name.
- In the navigation pane, choose Databases. On the displayed page, locate the target database and click Authorize in the Operation column.
- In the displayed dialog box, select one or more unauthorized database users, and select the read-only or read/write permission in the Authorized Users area.

If no users are available, you can create one by referring to Creating an Account.
- Click OK.
