Operations and Maintenance Staff Operational Management System Process

The database operation and maintenance management system has established a comprehensive operational management framework for maintenance personnel, with the workflow illustrated in Figure 1.

Figure 1 Operations and Maintenance Staff Operation Management Process
  1. The system administrator must first create accounts for the approver and the applicant. For details, see Platform Users.
  2. Newly added accounts must first be reviewed and authorized by the security administrator. For details, see Reviewing and Authorizing Platform Users.
  3. The system administrator needs to create an asset repository and click the "Automate Security Configuration" button to generate security configurations for the repository. This enables subsequent authorization of the asset repository and configuration of security policies for database operators. For details, see O&M Asset Repository.
  4. The system administrator assigns a data specialist (permission approval officer) for asset repository control. For details, see O&M Asset Control.
  5. System administrators manage the operational asset database account. For details, see Managing Accounts of O&M Asset Repository.
  6. The system administrator creates database access permissions for operations and maintenance. The administrator identifies the target database operator and performs asset authorization. For details, see Access Authorization for O&M Asset Repository.
  7. The database operator then logs into the system and accesses the Operations Bastion Host portal. For detailed instructions, see O&M Bastion Host Entrance.
  8. The database operator submits real-time permission requests for data access via WebSQL. For details, Submitting Real-time Application for O&M Data Access Permission.
  9. The system administrator (approver) reviews the work order request. For details, see Security Control - Data Permission Approval.
  10. After approval, the database operator must first log in to the system, then access the Operations Bastion Host through its portal, and perform operations using the WebSQL Secure Client tool. For detailed instructions, see Accessing Assets via WebSQL Secure Client.
