Managing Upgrade Push Policies
Scenarios
Workspace provides basic service capabilities such as software version management and upgrade scheduling. It supports centralized management of desktop server versions and scheduling of upgrade tasks.
Procedure
- Log in to the console.
- In the navigation pane, choose Version Upgrade Management > Version Management.
- On the displayed page, click the Upgrade Push Policy tab.
- Click Create Upgrade Policy. On the displayed page, set parameters by referring to Managing Upgrade Push Policies.

Procedure
Description
Creating an upgrade policy
- Click Create Upgrade Policy.
- By default, the type is Servers.
- Specify whether to enable forcible upgrade.
: Enabled.
: Disabled. NOTE:After this function is enabled, the upgrade policy will be executed even when the desktop is in use.
- Set Earlier Than as required.
- Select the target version of the upgrade.
- Enter a custom upgrade policy name.
- Enter a description.
- Click Next step: Select the application object and select objects such as All desktops, Desktop, Static desktop pool, and Desktop Tags.
- Click OK.
The administrator can create a custom upgrade push policy and use it to manage desktop upgrades in batches.
Viewing the upgrade policy
- Click Attribute Type and specify attributes such as Priority, Policy Name, Policy Type and Upgrade Method to filter policies.
The administrator can filter an upgrade policy by attribute to view.
Export
- Click Export.
- Wait while the dialog box is displayed, indicating the file is being exported. You can download the exported file from the export center later.
- Click Go to Export Center. The Export Center page is displayed, where you can view the exported file.
The administrator can export an upgrade policy.
Edit
- Locate the target policy and click Edit in the Operation column.
- Modify the policy parameters as required, including Forcible Upgrade, Earlier Than, Upgrade To, and Description (Optional).
- Click OK.
The administrator can edit an upgrade policy as required.
Copy
- Locate the target policy and click Copy in the Operation column.
- Click OK.
The administrator can quickly copy an upgrade policy as required.
Status
: Enabled.
: Disabled.
The administrator can enable or disable an upgrade policy as required.
Delete
- Locate the target policy and click Delete in the Operation column. Or select the target policies and click Delete above the policy list.
- Enter DELETE or click Auto Enter to confirm the deletion.
- Click OK.
If an upgrade policy is no longer applicable or needs to be cleared, the administrator can delete it at any time.
