(Optional) Creating a Folder
You can specify a folder for the dataset to manage datasets centrally.
Creating a Folder
- Log in to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas by referring to Logging In to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas.
- Choose Data Center from the main menu.
- Choose Datasets > All in the navigation pane.
- Click All Datasets, click ..., and choose New Folder.
- On the displayed page, enter a folder name and click Confirm.
The folder name can contain 1 to 64 characters, including letters, digits, and underscores (_), but cannot start or end with an underscore (_).

Renaming a Folder
You can change the folder name after folder creation.
- Log in to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas by referring to Logging In to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas.
- Choose Data Center from the main menu.
- Choose Datasets > All in the navigation pane.
- Click the folder created in Creating a Folder, click ..., and choose Rename.
- On the displayed page, enter a new folder name and click Confirm.
The folder name can contain 1 to 64 characters, including letters, digits, and underscores (_), but cannot start or end with an underscore (_).
Creating a Subfolder
After a folder is created, you can add subfolders to the folder. A maximum of three levels of folders can be created.
- Log in to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas by referring to Logging In to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas.
- Choose Data Center from the main menu.
- Choose Datasets > All in the navigation pane.
- Click the folder created in Creating a Folder, click ..., and choose New Subfolder.
- On the displayed page, enter a subfolder name and click Confirm.
After a subfolder is created, you can rename it, create another subfolder within it, or delete it. A maximum of three levels of folders can be created, as shown in Figure 4.

Deleting a Folder
The folder containing a dataset cannot be deleted. To delete it, delete the dataset first.
- Log in to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas by referring to Logging In to Huawei Cloud Astro Canvas.
- Choose Data Center from the main menu.
- Choose Datasets > All in the navigation pane.
- Click the folder created in Creating a Folder, click ..., and choose Delete.
- On the displayed page, click OK.
