Pay-per-Use

Pay-per-use billing means you are billed only for what you use. Charges are calculated down to the second, from the moment you enable an instance until you delete it. You can change from pay-per-use to yearly/monthly.

Scenarios

This billing mode is suitable for short-term service requirements. You can start or stop instances on demand, releasing compute resources when they are not in use to save more.

Billing Cycle

A pay-per-use cloud desktop is billed in seconds, and settled on the hour (GMT+8). Once settlement is complete, it enters a new billing cycle. The billing starts when the desktop is created and ends when it is deleted.

For example, if you purchased a pay-per-use ECS at 8:45:30 and deleted it at 8:55:30, you are billed for the 600 seconds from 8:45:30 to 8:55:30.
