How Do I Install the Agent from the Command Line (on Windows)?

Prerequisites

• The online server where the agent is to be installed must be able to communicate with the network segment. The security group of your server must allow outbound access to ports 442 and 443 on the 100.125.0.0/16 network segment.

Procedure

1. Log in to the Windows ECS as an administrator.
2. Open a browser, and enter the address of the Agent installation package in the address box to download and decompress the installation package.

3. Inside the search field from your taskbar, enter cmd to open the Command Prompt window. Go to the agent installation path.
4. Run the .\hostguard_setup.exe /silent command to install the agent.

   After the agent is installed, you are advised to delete the agent installation package.

   

   The agent status will be automatically refreshed 5 to 10 minutes after the installation succeeded.
