AOM Dashboard Overview
Dashboards enable you to monitor metrics and logs in real time. You can create dashboards for metrics or logs, so that monitoring data can be displayed in graphs on the monitoring panel. This helps you monitor and analyze metrics or logs.
What Are Dashboards
Dashboards display the query and analysis results of metrics or logs in bar, line, or digit graphs. Each dashboard consists of multiple graphs. Each graph corresponds to one or more query and analysis statements. When you open or refresh a dashboard, query and analysis operations are automatically performed on graphs. Different graphs can also be integrated into the same screen.
With dashboards, you can monitor key metrics in real time, quickly detect exceptions, locate root causes, or perform trend analysis.
Application Scenarios
- Panoramic service monitoring dashboard
Provides a global view for the management or O&M team, showing key metrics such as the transaction volume, success rate, and latency of core services.
You can set metric alarm thresholds and notifications. Dashboards can display the unexpected changes of key metrics, such as decreased success rate or insufficient resources. Through historical data comparison and multi-dimensional analysis, you can quickly detect and locate abnormal metrics, improving the stability and response speed of your system and services.
The dashboard is often used for large-screen display in an office or command center.
- Special fault check dashboard
When a metric is abnormal, associated metrics and error logs are displayed, facilitating in-depth analysis.
- Resource capacity planning
Displays the resource usage trend (such as the disk usage trend) for a long time to assist in capacity expansion decision-making.
- Open-source component monitoring
AOM provides preset dashboard templates. After you connect an open-source Prometheus component (such as Kafka and Nginx), a standard dashboard can be generated with one click.

Constraints
- Preset dashboard templates are listed under System. Preset dashboards cannot be deleted. Their groups cannot be changed. Dashboard templates cannot be created.
- Preset CCE dashboards can be used only after you install kube-prometheus-stack on the Add-ons page of CCE.
- Preset cloud native middleware dashboards can be used only after you create middleware collection tasks on the UniAgent page.
- Preset dashboard DMS-RabbitMQ does not support monitoring of certain metrics in the RabbitMQ AMQP-0-9-1 version. For details about the supported RabbitMQ metrics, see RabbitMQ Metrics.
- Up to 1,000 dashboard groups can be created in a region.
- Up to 1,000 dashboards can be created in a region.
- Up to 50 graphs can be added to a dashboard.
- Up to 200 metric data records can be displayed in a line graph.
- Only one resource can be displayed on a digit graph.
