Obtaining the SP Metadata File

The SP Metadata file is the metadata file of the trustworthy SAML service provider. It contains the HUAWEI CLOUD SAML public key information and response path information.

If a partner switches to HUAWEI CLOUD from the partner sales platform through the web UI, the partner sales platform can check whether HUAWEI CLOUD SAML messages are reliable using this public key.

Procedure

  1. Sign in to Huawei Cloud as a partner. On the top navigation bar, select Support > Open APIs.
  2. Click Obtain SP Metadata File under Prepare.

  3. Upload the SP Metadata file to the IDP server of the partner's self-built platform. The file is used to verify the SAML message when a customer logs in to the partner's self-built platform and switches to HUAWEI CLOUD.
