  • Verification code and notification SMSs are charged in the same way.
  • You are not billed for SMSs whose status parameter or status code is a Huawei platform error code.

Account Usage

  • Message & SMS is a prepaid service. Top up your Huawei Cloud account to use it.
  • An SMS package is bound to one account and cannot be used by different accounts.

Expiration and Overdue Payment

If your Huawei Cloud account is in arrears, the cloud service platform provides a retention period. For details about the retention duration and processing rules, see Resource Suspension and Release. If you do not renew your subscription when the retention period ends, your Huawei Cloud account will be frozen and you cannot use Message & SMS or the remaining quota of SMS package. If the account is in arrears, top up the account to send SMSs.
