What Is the Billing Mode of DLI?
DLI queues support the following billing modes. You can create queues on different billing modes as you needed.
- Pay-per-use queues:
Select this billing mode if you seldom use a queue. You will be billed by calendar hour.
Compute resources will be released one hour after the queue is idle (no job is running). When the queue is used again, it takes about 5 to 10 minutes for the system to reallocate compute resources to the queue.
- Yearly/Monthly queues:
If you use the queue frequently, you are advised to purchase a yearly/monthly queue. The compute resources are dedicated and will not be released when the queue is idle (no job is running). The usage experience is better and the cost is lower than that of the pay-per-use queue.
- Pay-per-use queues with dedicated resources:
If you need dedicated resources for a short period of time, you can select the dedicated resource mode when purchasing a pay-per-use queue. In this mode, resources in idle will not be released (the billing period is equal to the life cycle of the queue).
- Queues billed based on scanned data volume:
This is valid available for the default queue only.
