Unsubscription Rules

You can unsubscribe from in-useresources, inactive resources, renewal periods, and resources that failed to be created or changed.

  1. Unsubscribing from In-Use Resources:
    • In a conditional unsubscription, you will be charged a handling fee and the amount due. Used cash coupons and discount coupons will not be returned. If flexi-purchase coupons and stored value cards were used to pay for an order, only part of the money deducted from them can be refunded. In this case, the incurred fees and unsubscription handling fees will be deducted. For details, see Conditional Unsubscription.

      The money paid with that stored value card will not be returned.

    • Five-day unconditional unsubscription: Actual payment and the used cash coupons will be returned, but the used discount coupons will not. If any flexi-purchase coupons and stored value cards were used, the money deducted from them will be refunded. For details, see Five-Day Unconditional Unsubscription.
    • Unsubscription not allowed: Cloud services such as Domain Name Service (DNS), HUAWEI CLOUD Meeting, and HUAWEI CLOUD WeLink cannot be unsubscribed from. For details, see Unsubscription Not Allowed.
  2. Unsubscribing from Inactive Resources:
    Inactive resources are those you have purchased again based on the original pay-per-usage package or add-on package, for which you have specified a future effective time.
    • In an unsubscription from an inactive resource, no handling fees are charged and used cash coupons are returned, but used discount coupons will not be returned. If any flexi-purchase coupons and stored value cards were used, the money deducted from them will be refunded.
    • Unsubscription not allowed: Resources that have not taken effect cannot be unsubscribed from if other transactions are in progress, special unsubscriptions are being requested, or the resources have been in a promotion or an invoice has been issued for the resources.
  3. Unsubscribing from a Renewal Period:
    You can only unsubscribe from a renewal period that has not taken effect. If a renewal period has already taken effect, you can only unsubscribe from the resources involved.
    • Subscription allowed: In an unsubscription from a renewal period that has not taken effect, no handling fees are charged and used cash coupons are returned, but used discount coupons will not be returned. If any flexi-purchase coupons and stored value cards were used, the money deducted from them will be refunded.
    • Unsubscription not allowed: A renewal period cannot be unsubscribed from if there is a CloudSite or a bandwidth add-on package, or the renewal order has been in a promotion or an invoice has been issued for the renewal order.
  4. Unsubscribing from a Resource That Fails to Be Created or Changed:

    A resource will be automatically unsubscribed from if the resource failed to be created. In this case, no handling fees will be charged, the amount you paid will be returned, and used cash coupons will be returned. If any flexi-purchase coupons and stored value cards were used, the money deducted from them will be refunded.
