Five-Day Unconditional Unsubscription
Five-day unconditional unsubscription (renewal periods not applicable): Within five days of a newly purchased resource being provisioned (excluding renewal periods), you can request an unconditional full refund if the number of unsubscriptions this year for your account has not exceeded 10. (Each account can at most request 10 five-day unconditional unsubscriptions in a year.)
Unsubscription Rules
- Part of cloud services support five-day unconditional unsubscription. Actual payment and the cash coupons used will be returned, while the discount coupons used will not. Each account can request five-day unconditional full refund for 10 times within a calendar year (starting from January 1st).
A customer purchases a monthly subscribed ECS on 2020/10/20 with a cash coupon of ¥20.00 and cash account balance of ¥80.00. (Before 2020/12/31, the customer is allowed to have another six unconditional unsubscriptions. The cash coupon expires at 2020/12/31 23:59:59.)
On 2020/10/22, the customer unsubscribes from the ECS. The refund amount is ¥100.00, equal to the sum of the used cash coupon (¥20.00) and cash account balance (¥80.00).
- Five-day unconditional unsubscription does not apply to those cloud services whose promotion description specifies that they are excluded from the scope of five-day unconditional unsubscription.
- The number of five-day unconditional unsubscriptions is calculated as follows:
- If a cloud service supports resource-specific unsubscriptions, the number of five-day unconditional unsubscriptions is calculated by resource.
Example 1: Customer A purchases 10 ECSs in an order and unsubscribes from all of them within five days. In this case, the actual number of five-day unconditional unsubscriptions is 10.
Example 2: Customer B purchases five ECSs in an order and unsubscribes from all of them within five days. Additionally, customer B includes the disk of one ECS in the unsubscription. In this case, the actual number of five-day unconditional unsubscriptions is 6.
- If a cloud service does not support resource-specific unsubscriptions, unsubscribing from all the resources of an order corresponds to only one five-day unconditional unsubscription.
Example: Customer C purchases 10 cloud desktops in an order and unsubscribes from all of them within 5 days. The actual number of five-day unconditional unsubscriptions is 1.
- A cloud solution unsubscription is categorized into an order-specific unsubscription. Unsubscribing from all the resources of a solution order corresponds to only one five-day unconditional unsubscription.
- If a cloud service supports resource-specific unsubscriptions, the number of five-day unconditional unsubscriptions is calculated by resource.
Procedure
- Go to the Unsubscriptions and Returns/Exchanges > Cloud Service Unsubscriptions page.
- Click Unsubscribe from In-Use Resources and then click 5-Day Unconditional Unsubscription.
- Click Unsubscribe from Resource for a resource you want to unsubscribe from.

- Click Expand to view the unsubscription details, specify the unsubscription reason, select the confirmation check boxes, and then click Confirm.
