Resource Expiration
Rules
- Before a yearly/monthly resource expires, you can choose to manually renew it, have it automatically renewed, not renew it, or change its billing mode to pay-per-use.
- You can manually renew a yearly/monthly resource when it is about to expire. For details, see Manually Renewing a Resource.
- You can enable auto-renewal for the resources you frequently use, so that these resources will not be deleted after expiration. For details, see Enabling Auto-Renewal.
- You can set the resources you will no longer use to be not renewed upon expiration. Your resources that have expired will enter a grace period and then a retention period. Once the retention period ends, your resources will be automatically deleted. See Non-Renewal upon Expiration for details.
- You can change the billing mode of a yearly/monthly resource to pay-per-use when it expires. See From Yearly/Monthly to Pay-per-Use for details.
- After a yearly/monthly resource expires, the resource enters the grace period, during which you can still use the resource. After the grace period ends, the retention period comes. During this period, your resources are frozen and cannot be accessed, but the data stored will be retained. If you want to continue using the resources, renew them in a timely manner. After the retention period ends, your resources are automatically deleted. In this case, the resources cannot be retrieved or renewed.
