Manually Renewing a Resource

You can manually renew a yearly/monthly resource when it is about to expire.

If you want to use an API to query your yearly/monthly resources, see Querying Customer's Yearly/Monthly Resources.

If you want to use an API to renew yearly/monthly resources, see Renewing Subscription to Yearly/Monthly Resources.

Procedure

  1. Go to the Renewals page.

To renew a domain, click Renew Domain in the upper right corner of the page to go to the console. For details, see the article about how to renew a domain in the Help Center.

  2. Set the search criteria.

    • If you have enabled enterprise project management, you can set the search criteria to filter an enterprise project and query its resources that are to be renewed.
    • You can click Set Renewal Date to set a uniform expiration for all resources. For details, see Setting a Renewal Date.
    • On the Manual Renewals, Auto Renewals, Pay-per-Use After Expiration, and Renewals Canceled pages, you can view all resources to be renewed and manually renew the resources.

  3. All resources that need to be manually renewed can be moved to the Manual Renewals page. For details, see Restoring to Manual Renewal.
  4. Renew resources individually or in batches.

    • Individual renewal: Click Renew in the Operation column for the desired resource.

    • Batch renewal: Select the check boxes for the desired resources, and click Renew in the upper left corner.

    • On the Renewals page, resources that have orders pending payment are hidden by default. You can unselect Do not show resources that have orders pending payment to show them.
    • When you renew a resource that has an order pending payment, the following message will be displayed: "The resource has an order pending payment. You can renew it only after you pay or cancel the order." You can click the order No. in the dialog box to go to the order details page. After you pay for or cancel the order, the resource becomes renewable.

  5. Select a renewal duration and click Pay.

    • Default renewal duration:
      1. If the renewal duration of an order is less than one year, the original renewal policy is used. For example, if the renewal duration of a resource is 1 to 9 months, the default renewal duration displayed is 1 month.
      2. If a 1-year product is renewed, the default renewal duration displayed is 1 year. If a 2-year product or a 3-year product is renewed, the default renewal duration displayed is preferentially 1 year.
      3. When multiple resources are renewed, the minimum renewal duration in the overlapped range of these resources is used. If 1 year is in the overlapped range, the default renewal duration displayed is 1 year.
      4. If the minimum renewal duration of a yearly product is longer than 1 year, the minimum renewal duration is displayed by default. (If 1 year is included, the default renewal duration displayed is 1 year.)
    • When an affiliated resource is added to a portfolio product, if you renew the portfolio product for a duration that is consistent with the preferential period of the renewal package displayed on the page, two orders (a renewal order for the portfolio product and a renewal order for the affiliated resource) are generated during payment. You need to pay or cancel these two orders at the same time. If the renewal duration is inconsistent with the preferential period displayed on the page, only one renewal order is generated.
    • The cumulative renewal duration of a resource cannot exceed 10 years. For example, if you renew a resource on January 28, 2021, you can renew it the furthest until 23:59:59 on January 28, 2031.

  6. Select discounts and a payment option, and click Pay.

  7. Click View order to view the order details. You can also comment on your renewal experience.

If you want to pay for the order later, close the payment page. Later you can click Orders in the left menu, click Pending Payment, and then pay for the renewal order.
