Changing the Component Access Domain Name

Changing the Component Access Domain Name
For components with enabled public network access and set access domain names, you can change the domain names after the components are deployed.
Prerequisites
- An automatically generated domain name is valid only for seven days. After the validity period expires, the domain name must be changed to a custom domain name.
- You can set the component access mode only for the components deployed using the following methods with public network access enabled:
- The component status is Running. For details about how to check the component status, see Viewing Component Details.
- You have obtained the domain name from the domain name provider.
- You have obtained the elastic IP address of the ELB bound to the component.
Changing the Component Access Domain Name
- Log in to ServiceStage.
- Use either of the following methods to go to the Access Mode page.
- On the Application Management page, click the application to which the component belongs, click the target component in Component List, and choose Access Mode in the left navigation pane.
- On the Component Management page, click the target component and choose Access Mode in the left navigation pane.
- Click Set domain.
- Enter the obtained Domain Name.
- Enter Listening Port.
- (Optional) Enable HTTPS.
- Click Use existing to select an existing certificate.
- Click Create new to create a server certificate. For details, see Adding a Certificate.
