Functions
This section outlines the main functions supported by CodeArts Req. For detailed information on regional availability of each function, you can refer to the console.
Requirement Management
CodeArts Req (formerly ProjectMan) is a project management and collaboration service for agile software development teams, including multi-project management, agile sprint management, requirement management, defect tracking, document management, and chart customization.

For more information, see What Is CodeArts Req?.
Permission Management
CodeArts Req uses Identity and Access Management (IAM) to centrally manage permissions for multiple projects of a tenant. In a single project, permissions are managed based on specific project settings. There are two types of permissions managed in CodeArts Req: cloud-service-level permissions and project-level permissions.
- Cloud service permissions are configured using IAM. IAM is free of charge. You pay only for the resources in your account.
- Project permissions are configured in CodeArts Req.
For more information, see Permission Management.
Tenant Settings
You can import IAM users in batches, set project templates and creators, and manage projects and members. For more information, refer to Tenant Settings.
