Changing Yearly/Monthly to Pay-per-Use

After creating a yearly/monthly shared bandwidth, you can change its billing mode from yearly/monthly to pay-per-use to save costs and use the shared bandwidth more flexibly.

Change Scenario

Description

From yearly/monthly to pay-per-use (billed by bandwidth)

The change can be applied immediately or after the current subscription expires.

From yearly/monthly to pay-per-use (billed by enhanced 95th percentile bandwidth)

You can change the billing mode by performing the following actions:

  1. Change the billing mode of the shared bandwidth from yearly/monthly to pay-per-use (billed by bandwidth) by referring to Changing Yearly/Monthly to Pay-per-Use.
  2. Change the billing option from pay-per-use (billed by bandwidth) to pay-per-use (billed by enhanced 95th percentile bandwidth) by referring to Changes Between Pay-per-Use (By Bandwidth) and Pay-per-Use (Billed by Enhanced 95th Percentile Bandwidth).

Prerequisites

The status of the shared bandwidth on the Billing Center > Renewals page is Provisioned.

From Yearly/Monthly to Pay-Per-Use (Billed by Bandwidth) upon Expiration

  1. Go to the shared bandwidth list page.
  2. In the shared bandwidth list, select one or more shared bandwidths and click Change to Pay-per-Use upon Expiration in the upper left corner of the list.
  3. In the displayed dialog box, confirm the information and click OK.
  4. On the Change to Pay-per-Use After Expiration page, confirm the information and click Change to Pay-per-Use.

From Yearly/Monthly to Pay-per-Use (Billed by Bandwidth) Immediately

  1. Go to the shared bandwidth list page.
  2. In the shared bandwidth list, select one or more shared bandwidths and click Change to Pay-per-Use Immediately in the upper left corner of the list.
  3. In the displayed dialog box, confirm the information and click OK.
  4. On the Change to Pay-Per-Use page, confirm the information and click Change to Pay-Per-Use.

When the change is complete, the pay-per-use billing will be applied immediately, and the remaining fees will be refunded. For details about the billing rules, see From Yearly/Monthly to Pay-per-Use Immediately.
