Unsubscriptions from Inactive Resources
When purchasing a resource package, you can specify when it will become active. You can apply for a full refund before the resource package takes effect.
Unsubscription Rules
- Your request to unsubscribe from a large order (over $7,000 USD) needs to be reviewed by your account manager. For details, see What Should I Know Before Unsubscribing from a Large-value Order?
- You cannot unsubscribe from inactive resources in any of the following scenarios:
- Transaction in progress: The resource is undergoing transactions such as change or renewal.
- Billing reasons: Orders have been placed for KooGallery products or placed by customers associated in the referral model and paid by their partners, and invoices have been issued.
- Promotion involved: You participated in a specific promotion activity and the activity rules explicitly state that unsubscription is not allowed.
- Incompliance: Resources are frozen for public security reasons.
Calculation of Refund
Actual Refund = Paid amount. In this case, the full paid amount is refunded and the used cash coupons are returned.
Example:
On January 01, 2024, you purchased a monthly resource package and set its effective time to three days later. The amount due was $100.00 USD. You used a cash coupon of $20.00 USD and paid $80.00 USD. On January 02, 2024, if you unsubscribed from the resource package, the paid amount ($80.00 USD) would be refunded and the cash coupon of $20.00 USD would be returned.
