Registering a HUAWEI ID

Register a HUAWEI ID and enable Huawei Cloud services.

Real-name authentication is required for migrations to regions within the Chinese mainland.

Creating a Private Key for Your Google Cloud Account

Perform the following steps to generate a key file and obtain the permissions for your Google Cloud account required to list buckets, obtain bucket locations, list objects, obtain object metadata, and obtain object content.

1. Log in to the Google Cloud console using your source account.
2. On the console, select the project that your service account belongs to. Then, navigate to the IAM & Admin part. Choose Service accounts > Create Service Account. Enter a service account name and other information, and click Finish.
3. On the Service accounts page, Click the Email name and choose Keys > ADD KEY. The page for creating a key is displayed.

   

4. Select JSON for Key type and click CREATE.

   

5. Download the key file generated automatically by the system. Keep this key file secure. When you create a migration task on the OMS console, copy all content (including the braces) in the JSON file to the Secrete Access Key text box.
