Managing User Portal Sessions

You can view the user portal sessions that the current user is logging in to and delete them at any time. After a session is deleted, the user portal session is logged out. The user needs to log in again to access the portal.

Deleting a session terminates only the user portal session, but does not affect the management console sessions that the user logs in to by selecting a permission set from the user portal session. These sessions persist until the session duration set in the permission set ends or the user logs out of the session.

Procedure

  1. Log in to the Huawei Cloud management console.
  2. Click in the upper left corner of the page and choose Management & Governance > IAM Identity Center.
  3. In the navigation pane, choose Users.
  4. In the user list, click a username to go to the user details page.
  5. Click the Active Sessions tab on the user details page to view the user portal sessions that are being logged in to.

The information displayed in the list includes the session (consisting of the login mode, browser, and OS), IP address, and last login time.

  6. Select the session to be deleted and click Delete Session.
  7. In the displayed dialog box, click OK. The selected session is deleted successfully.

If you think that the user password has been disclosed, you can reset the user password after the sessions are deleted. For details, see Resetting a Password.
