Selecting the Table Fields to Encrypt

Identify and determine the sensitive fields within the database that require encrypted storage, define the encryption scope, and apply encryption exclusively to privacy-sensitive data such as ID cards and mobile phone numbers – thereby reducing system resource consumption and enabling precise management of sensitive data risks. These data items constitute the target for existing historical data encryption tasks; subsequently, when integrating plugins (Application-Plugin) or deploying proxies (Proxy), all such sensitive data will be encrypted or decrypted.

Procedure

  1. Click the Project Management menu item on the left to access the Project Management List page, as shown in Figure 1.

  2. Select the item to encrypt from the right-side item list; hover the mouse over the item and click Enter, as shown in Figure 2.

  3. After clicking Enter in the previous step, the Project Homepage page will be displayed, as shown in Figure 3.

  4. Click the Encryption Settings menu on the left, then click Encryption Policy Settings. The system will display the Encryption Policy Settings homepage, as shown in Figure 4.

  5. In the Encryption Policy Settings section of the left navigation tree, select the system's database, choose the table you wish to encrypt, click the Field Encryption Configuration tab, and then click Edit to enter the editable state, as shown in Figure 5.

  6. Click Set in the Key column for the field that requires encryption to access the initial Set Encryption Rule page, then configure the key as shown in Figure 6.

  7. On the left side, click Select Encryption Rule, then on the right side, click Select Encryption Key to select the key you wish to use; finally, click Confirm, as shown in Figure 7.

  8. The interface for configuring the encryption key is shown in Figure 8.
