Viewing a Release Task

This section describes how to view a created release task

Prerequisites

You have created a release task. For details, see Creating a Release Task.

Viewing a Release Task

  1. Log in to ServiceStage.
  2. Choose Release Management.

    • If the Release Management page of the old version is displayed by default, go to 4.

      Overview describes release management of the old version.

    • If the Release Management page of the new version is displayed by default, go to 3.

      Overview describes release management of the new version.

  3. Click Old Edition to switch to the Release Management page of the old version.

    The data of the old and new versions are isolated. Switching them will not cause release task data loss.

  4. Click the target release task. The Release Management page is displayed.

    • View the release task information by referring to the following table.

      Description

      Release Status

      View the release task status next to the release task name.

      • To release: The release task has been created but has not been released.
      • Released: The release task has been released.
      • Releasing: The release task is being released.
      • Release failed: The release task fails to be released.
      • Rolling back: The released batch upgrade release task is being rolled back.
      • Rolled back: The released batch upgrade release task has been rolled back.
      • Rollback failed: The released batch upgrade release task fails to be rolled back.
      • Suspending: The release task being released is being suspended.
      • Suspended: The release task has been stopped.

      Release Task ID

      Click to copy the release task ID.

      Created

      Creation time of a release task.

      Released By

      Creator of a release task.

      Released

      Release time of a release task whose Release Status is Released.

      Operation Type

      Operation type of a release task.

      • Bulk Deploy
      • Bulk Upgrade
      • Bulk Clone

      Best Effort Policy

      Status of Best Effort Policy of a release task.

      • On: If a component fails to be released, continue to release other components.
      • Off: If a component fails to be released, the release task fails.

      Release Info

      View the configurations of each component in a release task on the Release Info page.

      Release History

      View the release overview and release details of each component in a release task in the following states on the Release History page.

      • Released
      • Releasing
      • Release failed
      • Rolling back
      • Rolled back
      • Rollback failed
      • Suspending
      • Suspended
    • Click the Release Info tab to view the detailed configurations of the components in the release task.
    • If the release task status is not To release, click the Release History tab to view the release overview and component release details of the release task.
